Anointing of the Sick
The anointing of the sick is administered to bring spiritual and even physical strength during an illness, especially near the time of death. The practiced ritual of healing appropriate not only for physical but also for mental and spiritual sickness.
Baptism
Baptisms are held during and after mass on Saturday and Sunday. Viewing of a Baptismal Instructional video is required for the parents for the first child only. Please contact the church secretary for more information. (618) 526-4118
Baptismal Request Form
Confirmation
Annually, the 8th grade class completes confirmation to continue on their journey to adulthood in the church. Confirmation preparation takes place during the Parish school of religion program.
Holy Matrimony
Marriage preparation and completion of the Pre-Cana Program is required before marriage. Please contact the priest several months prior to wedding date to schedule these preparations. Please call the office for an appointment. (618) 526-4118
Reconciliation
Reconciliation (Confession) is available before Saturday evening mass from 3:15pm - 3:45pm or by appointment. Please call the rectory office for an appointment.
First Communion
Annually the 2nd grade class participates in First Communion. The class prepares during the parish school of religion program.
